Chapter 2 | Minimum and Maximum Duration of Hayd
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ أَدْنَى مَا يَكُونُ مِنَ الْحَيْضِ فَقَالَ أَدْنَاهُ ثَلاَثَةٌ وَأَبْعَدُهُ عَشَرَةٌ.
3. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from Safwan ibn Yahya who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan , about the minimum duration of Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘Its minimum is three days and the longest is ten days.’”
