Chapter 19 | Women’s Reading the Holy Quran During Hayd or Child-birth

2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ تَقْرَأُ الْحَائِضُ الْقُرْآنَ وَالنُّفَسَاءُ وَالْجُنُبُ أَيْضاً.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Women experiencing Hayd (menses), childbirth and one involved in sexual activities (because of which Ghusl (bath) is obligatory) can read al-Quran.’”
