Chapter 21 | Women’s Hayd (menses) Stops, Comes Again and the Time of Menopause
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) الْمَرْأَةُ الَّتِي قَدْ يَئِسَتْ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ حَدُّهَا خَمْسُونَ سَنَةً. وَرُوِيَ سِتُّونَ سَنَةً أَيْضاً.
2. Ali has narrated from Muhammad from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Menopause happens at the age of fifty. 5 It is also narrated that it is at the age of sixty.”
