The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 469 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ النَّهْدِيِّ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ دُونَ الأرْبَعِينَ فَقَدِ اخْتُرِمَ وَمَنْ مَاتَ دُونَ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْماً فَمَوْتُهُ مَوْتُ فَجْأَةٍ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Musa ibn al-Hassan from abu al-Hassan al-Nahdi in a mafu’ manner who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far , has said, ‘If one dies before the age of forty, his life is cut short, and if one dies before fourteen days from the day of his falling ill, such death is a sudden death.’”
