The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 514 (#Ḥadīth #14)

14ـ وَعَنْهُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ جَارُودِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَقُولُ إِذَا بَلَغَتْ نَفْسُ أَحَدِكُمْ هَذِهِ وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى حَلْقِهِ قَرَّتْ عَيْنُهُ.

14. It is narrated from him (narrator of the above Hadith) from Safwan from Jarud ibn al-Mundhir who has said the following: “I heard abu ‘Abd Allah , say, ‘When the soul of one of you reaches here’ - pointing to his throat - ‘his eyes become delightful.’”
