The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 605 (#Ḥadīth #11)

11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُغَسِّلُ امْرَأَتَهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِنَّمَا يَمْنَعُهَا أَهْلُهَا تَعَصُّباً.

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Fiammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam) , about the case of a woman who dies, if her husband can give her Ghusl (bath). He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, but her relatives may hinder due to intolerance.’”
