Chapter 37 | Informing People to Attend a Funeral Service
2ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ ذَرِيحٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْجِنَازَةِ يُؤْذَنُ بِهَا النَّاسُ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Dharih al-Muharibiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , ‘Should people be informed to attend the funeral of a deceased person?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Yes, people should be informed.’”
