Chapter 43 | The Reward for Walking in a Funeral Procession

3ـ سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَا يُتْحَفُ بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنُ يُغْفَرُ لِمَنْ تَبِعَ جَنَازَتَهُ.

3. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the first gift for a deceased believing person is forgiveness for those who escort him to his grave.”
