3. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan and abu Ali al-Ash’ariy from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar all from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd al-FIamid ibn Sa‘id who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan , about Salah (prayer) for a deceased when I do not have Wudu’, and because of going for Wudu’ I miss Salah (prayer) if I can perform it without Wudu’. He (the Imam) your being with Wudu’ is more beloved to me.’”
