Chapter 50 | Women’s Performing Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Person
2ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ إِذَا لَمْ يَحْضُرِ الرَّجُلُ تَقَدَّمَتِ امْرَأَةٌ وَسَطَهُنَّ وَقَامَ النِّسَاءُ عَنْ يَمِينِهَا وَشِمَالِهَا وَهِيَ وَسَطَهُنَّ تُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى تَفْرُغَ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn Salim from Ahmad ibn abu Nadr from ‘Amr ibn Shimr from Jabir who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘If no man is present, a woman leads (standing) in the middle with other women on her right and left, she in the middle says Takbir (Allah is great beyond description) until Salah (prayer) is complete.’”
