Chapter 55 | There is No Particular Du’a or Salam in Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Body
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ وَزُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالاَ لَيْسَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ تَسْلِيمٌ.
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Halabiy from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far, and abu ‘Abd Allah , have said, ‘There is no Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) to end Salah (prayer) for a deceased.’”
