Chapter 56 | Saying More Than Five Takbir in Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Person

1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُثَنَّى بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) عَلَى حَمْزَةَ سَبْعِينَ صَلاَةً.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from al-Muthanna’ ibn al-Walid from Zurarah from who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah said seventy Salah (prayers) for Hamzah.’”
