Chapter 76 | People Consumed By Beasts, Birds, Pieces of Bodies of Those Killed or Burnt

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ayyub ibn Nuh in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If a piece is cut from a man, it is dead. In case of one’s touching, whatever piece has bone in it Ghusl (bath) becomes obligatory, if bone is not found in it, Ghusl (bath) is not obligatory.’”

Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
