Chapter 79 | The Obligations of the Neighbors toward the People of the Deceased and Mourning Ceremonies
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ أَوْصَى أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) بِثَمَانِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ لِمَأْتَمِهِ وَكَانَ يَرَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ لأَنَّ رَسُولَ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَالَ اتَّخِذُوا لآِلِ جَعْفَرٍ طَعَاماً فَقَدْ شُغِلُوا.
4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz or others who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , said in his will that eight hundred dirhams should be spent to organize a memorial service for his death. He considered it as part of the tradition; the Messenger of Allah had said, ‘Prepare food for the family of Ja‘far; they are preoccupied (with the death of Ja‘far).’”
