Chapter 88 | Interrogations in the Grave - Who Is Interrogated and Who Is Not

16. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus who has said the following: “I asked him (the Imam) , about one who dies because of being hanged, ’Is such a person punished in the form of the pressure of the grave?’ He replied, ’Yes, Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, sends the air to place huge pressures on him.’”

Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
