The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 920 (#Ḥadīth #5)

5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) شَرُّ الْيَهُودِ يَهُودُ بَيْسَانَ وَشَرُّ النَّصَارَى نَصَارَى نَجْرَانَ وَخَيْرُ مَاءٍ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأرْضِ مَاءُ زَمْزَمَ وَشَرُّ مَاءٍ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأرْضِ مَاءُ بَرَهُوتَ وَهُوَ وَادٍ بِحَضْرَمَوْتَ يَرِدُ عَلَيْهِ هَامُ الْكُفَّارِ وَصَدَاهُمْ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘The worst ones among Jews are the Jews of Baysan, the worst ones among Christians are the Christians of Najran. The best water on earth is the water of Zamzam and the worst water on earth is the water of Barahut and it is in the valley of Hadramawt where the souls and spirits of unbelievers camp.’”
