The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 931 (#Ḥadīth #2)

2ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ إِذَا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ أَوْثَقَهُ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ وَلَوْ لاَ ذَلِكَ مَا اسْتَقَرَّ.

2. Ali has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that when a person is about to die, the angel of death ties him down; otherwise, he will not calm down.”
