Chapter 95 | The Rare Ahadith

13. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from ibn Mahbub from Ali ibn Ri’ab who has said the following: “I heard abu al-Hassan, the first, saying, ‘When a believing person dies, angels, the pieces of land on which he had performed his worship, and the doors of the heavens through which his deeds were raised all weep for him. Because of his death, an irreparable crack appears in Islam; the believing people serve as a fortress for Islam like the fortress of the protective walls around a city.’”
