Chapter 83 | The Dress in the State of al-Thram and Detestable Dress in Such State
7. Muhammad ibn ‘Isa has narrated from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ya’qub ibn Shu’ayb who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who uses a shawl, for Ihram, which has buttons. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it is in the book of Ali , “You must not use a shawl until you remove its buttons,” my father said that it is undesirable because of fear that an ignorant person may button it on him.’”
