Chapter 95 | The Case of Drawing Blood, Cutting Nails or Hair while in the Sate of al-’ Ihram
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْمُحْرِمِ يَحْتَجِمُ قَالَ لا إِلاَّ أَنْ لا يَجِدَ بُدّاً فَلْيَحْتَجِمْ وَلا يَحْلِقْ مَكَانَ الْمَحَاجِمِ.
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah , about a man who in the state of Ihram uses cupping (draws blood from his body). He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not permissible, unless there is no other choice, but the place from where blood is drawn must not be shaved.’”
