3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah) , about a man who performs obligatory Tawaf without Tahur (cleansing). He (the Imam) said, ‘He must take wudu’ and do his Tawaf again; even if it is optional, he must take wudu’ and perform Salat (prayer).”’
