Chapter 146 | Taqsir (Trimming something from One’s Hair or Nails After Completing Sa‘y) of One Who Is for al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) and Coming Out of the State of Ihram
3. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Rifa‘ah ibn Musa who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who performs Tawaf around the House and Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah; if he can perform an optional Tawaf before Taqsir (cutting some hair or finger nails and so on). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not admirable to me.’”
