Chapter 147 | The Case of One Who Forgets Taqsir until Talbiyah (Here I Am, O Lord, to obey Your command) for al-Hajj or Shaves His Head or Has Carnal Relations with His Wife
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who is for al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) and performs sexual intercourse with his wife before Taqsir (cutting some hair or finger nails and so on). He (the Imam) said, ‘He must slaughter one Jazur and I fear for his al-Hajj to have become damaged if he did knowingly; but if he is ignorant, he is not obligated for anything in this matter.’”
