Chapter 202 | Entering the Ka‘bah

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn abu al-‘Ala’ who has said the following: “I once spoke to abu ‘Abd Allah , about performing salat (prayer) inside al-Ka‘bah. He (the Imam) said, ‘Perform salat (prayer) between the two pillars on the red marble; the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, performed salat (prayer) there. Thereafter go to the corners of the House and say Takhir (Allah is great beyond description) in every corner.’”
