2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan , about al- £ Umrah; if it is obligatory. He (the Imam) said, £ Yes, it is obligatory.’ I then asked, ‘If one is for al-Tamattu £ (advantageous) is it sufficient?’ He (the Imam) said, £ Yes, it is sufficient.’” (Fatwa best explains Hadith 2 of this Chapter)
