The Sufficient (Vol 4) · Hadith 2166 (#Ḥadīth #10)

10ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ غَسَّانَ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ مَنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ غَفَرَ الله لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ.

10. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from Ghassan al- Basriy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said that if one visits the grave of abu ‘Abd Allah , with proper understanding of his rights, Allah forgives his past sins and whatever sins come later on.”
