Chapter 47 | Undesirability of Traveling in the Month of Ramadan

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who when the month of Ramadan arrives is at home and does not want to travel; then it occurs to him, when it is the month of Ramadan, to travel. He (the Imam) remained quiet and I asked several times then he (the Imam) said, ‘Staying home is better unless he has a certain need for which it is necessary for him to travel or is afraid for his assets.’”
