The Sufficient (Vol 4) · Hadith 50 (#Ḥadīth #14)

14ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَاسِرٍ الْخَادِمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَقُولُ يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ قُوتِ عِيَالِهِ فِي الشِّتَاءِ وَيَزِيدَ فِي وَقُودِهِمْ.

14. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yasir al-Khadim who has said the following: “I heard abu al-Hassan al-Rida , say, ‘A man should spare from the means of his sustenance to provide fuel for his family during winter.’”
