Chapter 39 | The Case of One Who Does Not Perform al-Hajj within Every Five Years

2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُنْدَارَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُمْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ إِنَّ لله مُنَادِياً يُنَادِي أَيُّ عَبْدٍ أَحْسَنَ الله إِلَيْهِ وَأَوْسَعَ عَلَيْهِ فِي رِزْقِهِ فَلَمْ يَفِدْ إِلَيْهِ فِي كُلِّ خَمْسَةِ أَعْوَامٍ مَرَّةً لِيَطْلُبَ نَوَافِلَهُ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمَحْرُومٌ.

Afi ibn Muhammad ibn Bundar has narrated from ibrahim ibn Ishaq from ‘Abd Allah ibn Hammad from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Humran who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far , has said, ‘Allah has an announcer who announces, ‘Any servant to whom Allah has done favors and has increased his sustenance, but he does not delegate himself before his Lord once every five years to appeal for the extra favors from Him, such person is indeed a deprived one.’”
