Chapter 44 | The Case of a Woman Whose Husband Prevents Her from Performing al-Hajj
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْحُرَّةِ تَحُجُّ إِلَى مَكَّةَ بِغَيْرِ وَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ تَخْرُجُ مَعَ قَوْمٍ ثِقَاتٍ.
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Mu‘awiyah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about the case of a woman who is free if she can perform al-Hajj in Makkah. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful if she goes with trustworthy people.’”
