Chapter 23 | Man’s Defending Himself Against the Thief

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Aban ibn ‘Uthaman from a man formal-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘If a fighting thief enters your house, eliminate him. Whatever responsibility his blood (life) may bring is on my neck (my responsibility).”’
