Chapter 134 | Selling Vegetables and So On

4- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي زَرْعٍ بِيعَ وَهُوَ حَشِيشٌ ثُمَّ سَنْبَلَ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ إِذَا قَالَ أَبْتَاعُ مِنْكَ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْ هَذَا الزَّرْعِ فَإِذَا اشْتَرَاهُ وَهُوَ حَشِيشٌ فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَعْفَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَبَّصَ بِهِ.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Muthanna’ al- Hannat from Zurarah who has said the following: “About the case of a plantation which is sold when it is only grass, abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘It is not unlawful if he says, “I buy from you what comes out of this plantation.” If he buys it when it is only grass he can use it or if he likes he can wait (until harvest time).”’
