Chapter 135 | Selling Pastures

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Musa ibn Ibrahim who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu al-Hassan , about selling grass and pastures. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, had reserved al-Naqi‘ (name of a place) for the horses of the Muslims.’”
