The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 11 (#Ḥadīth #11)

11- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَرَضَ الْجِهَادَ وَعَظَّمَهُ وَجَعَلَهُ نَصْرَهُ وَنَاصِرَهُ وَاللهِ مَا صَلَحَتْ دُنْيَا وَلا دِينٌ إِلا بِهِ.

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub in a marfu’ the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, has made Jihad obligatory, considered it great and has made it His victory (support) and supporter. By Allah, the worldly affairs as well as religious affairs are never enhanced without Jihad.”
