The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1164 (#Ḥadīth #11)

11- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُؤْكَلُ مَا تَحْمِلُ النَّمْلَةُ بِفِيهَا وَقَوَائِمِهَا.

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah prohibited eating of what ants carry in their mouth or with their legs.”
