The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1170 (#Ḥadīth #17)

17- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ شَكَوْنَا إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ ذَهَابَ ثِيَابِنَا عِنْدَ الْقَصَّارِينَ فَقَالَ اكْتُبُوا عَلَيْهَا بَرَكَةٌ لَنَا فَفَعَلْنَا ذَلِكَ فَمَا ذَهَبَ لَنَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ثَوْبٌ.

17. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Fadl from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “We complained before abu ‘Abd Allah , about the loss of our clothes with the cleaners. He (the Imam) said, ‘Write on them, “Blessing for us.’” We did so and did not lose any cloth thereafter.”
