The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1258 (#Ḥadīth #3)

3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ [عَنْ أَبِيهِ] عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ السِّنْدِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ شَابٌّ مِنَ الأنْصَارِ فَشَكَا إِلَيْهِ الْحَاجَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ تَزَوَّجْ فَقَالَ الشَّابُّ إِنِّي لأسْتَحْيِي أَنْ أَعُودَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَحِقَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأنْصَارِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ لِي بِنْتاً وَسِيمَةً فَزَوَّجَهَا إِيَّاهُ قَالَ فَوَسَّعَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ [قَالَ] فَأَتَى الشَّابُّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْبَاهِ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Salih al-Sindiy from Ja’far ibn Bashir from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Once a young man from al-Ansar (people of al- Madinah) came to the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and complained about his needs. He (the Messenger of Allah) told him to become married. The young man said, “I feel shy to come to the Messenger of Allah to ask for help again.” A man from al-Ansar (people of al-Madinah) followed him and said, “I have a beautiful daughter.” He gave her in marriage to him. Allah granted increase in his sustenance. The young man came to the Holy Prophet, informed him of his condition and the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, said, “You, the young people, must get married.’””
