Chapter 13 | Excellence of Marriage with a Religious Spouse and the Detestability of Marriage for the Sake of Wealth

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from his uncle Ya’qub ibn Salim from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘Once a man came to the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, requesting instruction for getting married. The Messenger of Allah said to him, ‘You must marry one who is religious beyond questions.’”
