Chapter 14 | The Detestability of Marriage with Barren Women
2- الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَزَوَّجُوا بِكْراً وَلُوداً وَلا تَزَوَّجُوا حَسْنَاءَ جَمِيلَةً عَاقِراً فَإِنِّي أُبَاهِي بِكُمُ الأمَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

Al-Hassan ibn Mahbub has narrated from al-‘ Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘You must marry virgin and child bearing women, but you must not marry good a looking but barren woman because I will express pride because of you among nations on the Day of Judgment.’”
