The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1315 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ الْكُفْوُ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَفِيفاً وَعِنْدَهُ يَسَارٌ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Proper match is one who is chaste and affluent.’”
