Chapter 40 | Detestability of Marriage Ceremony at Certain Times
1- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْخَثْعَمِيِّ عَنْ ضُرَيْسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ لَمَّا بَلَغَ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّ رَجُلا تَزَوَّجَ فِي سَاعَةٍ حَارَّةٍ عِنْدَ نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ فَقَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مَا أَرَاهُمَا يَتَّفِقَانِ فَافْتَرَقَا.
1. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali from al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Amir and Muhammad ibn Yahya al- Khath’amiy from Durays ibn ‘Abd al-Malik who has said the following: “When it was mentioned to abu Ja‘far , that a man married a woman during the heat of the midday, abu Ja’far , said, ‘I do not see they can agree.’ They then separated from each other (as he (the Imam) had mentioned).’”
