Chapter 49 | The Effect of Conjugal Relation on Mahr
2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Najran from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “About the case of a man who marries a woman and goes to bed with her, then she asks for payment of mahr (dower), abu Ja’far , has said, ‘His going to bed with her destroys immediate payability of mahr (dower) which was for immediate payment.’”
