The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1627 (#Ḥadīth #11)

11- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ رَفَعَهُ أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْمَرْأَةَ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهَا زَوْجاً فُرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لَهُ أَبَداً.

11. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad in a marfu’ manner has said the following: “He (the Imam) , has said, ‘If a man marries a woman and knows that she has a husband, they must separate from each other and she becomes unlawful for him forever.’”
