5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مَرَّارٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ فِي كِتَابِ رَجُلٍ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ الرَّجُلُ يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةَ مُتْعَةً إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَيَنْقَضِي الأجَلُ بَيْنَهُمَا هَلْ لَهُ أَنْ يَنْكِحَ أُخْتَهَا مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا فَكَتَبَ لا يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَهَا حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Isma’il ibn Marrar from Yunus who has said the following: “I read in the letter of a man to al-Rida’ , that said, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, if a man marries a woman in the manner of Mut‘ah for an appointed time which expires; if he can marry her sister before her sister completes her waiting period.’ He (the Imam) had written to him, ‘It is not lawful for him to marry before her waiting period is complete.’”
