The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1645 (#Ḥadīth #11)

11- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الرِّضَا عَنِ الرَّجُلِ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْجَارِيَةُ وَلَهَا ابْنَةٌ فَيَقَعُ عَلَيْهَا أَيَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَقَعَ عَلَى ابْنَتِهَا فَقَالَ أَيَنْكِحُ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ ابْنَتَهُ.

11. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from those whom he has mentioned from al-Husayn ibn Bishr who has said the following: “I once asked al-Rida’ , about the case of a man who had a slave-girl who had a daughter. He falls on her (for sexual intercourse); if he could fall on her daughter. He (the Imam) said, ‘Does a man of good deeds marry his own daughter?”’
