The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 167 (#Ḥadīth #13)

13- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي الْخُبْزِ وَلا تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُ فَلَوْ لا الْخُبْزُ مَا صَلَّيْنَا وَلا صُمْنَا وَلا أَدَّيْنَا فَرَائِضَ رَبِّنَا.

13. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from abu al-Bakhtariy in a marfu’ manner who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘O Allah, grant us blessings with our loaves of bread and do not take them away from us. Without bread we cannot perform Salat (prayer) or fast, perform our obligations toward our Lord.’”
