Chapter 4 | The Degree Of Efforts Which One Must Make In Search For One’s Sustenance To Follow In the Footsteps of ‘A’immah ‘Alayhim al-Salam

4- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ وَسَلَمَةَ صَاحِبِ السَّابِرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعْتَقَ أَلْفَ مَمْلُوكٍ مِنْ كَدِّ يَدِهِ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah and Salmah Sahib al-Sabiriy from abu ‘Usamah Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin , had set free one thousand slaves by means of what he had earned with his own hands.”
