Chapter 100 | Mahr (dower) in this form of Marriage, al-Mut‘ah
2- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الأحْوَلِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ أَدْنَى مَا يَتَزَوَّجُ بِهِ الْمُتْعَةَ قَالَ كَفٌّ مِنْ بُرٍّ.
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid al-Barqiy from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad al-Jawhariy from abu Sa‘id from al-Ahwal who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah , about the minimum amount of mahr (dower) in al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage). He (the Imam) said, ‘It can be a handful of wheat.’”
