Chapter 4 | The Degree Of Efforts Which One Must Make In Search For One’s Sustenance To Follow In the Footsteps of ‘A’immah ‘Alayhim al-Salam
7- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ السِّجِسْتَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَضَعَ حَجَراً عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ يَرُدُّ الْمَاءَ عَنْ أَرْضِهِ فَوَ اللهِ مَا نَكَبَ بَعِيراً وَلا إِنْسَاناً حَتَّى السَّاعَةِ.
7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Abu al-Maghra’ from ‘Am mar al-Sajistaniy from abu ‘Abd Allah, from his father , who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, once placed a piece of stone on the waterway to prevent it from flowing into his land. By Allah, until this day no human being or camel has moved it away.”
