The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1819 (#Ḥadīth #5)

5- سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَمُّونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مِسْمَعٍ أَبِي سَيَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْرَهُ لأمَّتِي أَنْ يَغْشَى الرَّجُلُ أَهْلَهُ فِي النِّصْفِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ أَوْ فِي غُرَّةِ الْهِلالِ فَإِنَّ مَرَدَةَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَالْجِنِّ تَغْشَى بَنِي آدَمَ فَيُجَنَّنُونَ وَيُخَبَّلُونَ أَمَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْمُصَابَ يُصْرَعُ فِي النِّصْفِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ وَعِنْدَ غُرَّةِ الْهِلالِ.

5. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Shammun from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from Misma’ abu Sayyar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘I dislike for my followers that one of them goes to bed with his wife in the middle of the month or when it is new moon because the rebels of satans and Jinn overwhelm children of Adam; they become possessed by Jinn are and insane. You can see that those possessed become epileptic in the middle and in the beginning of the month’”
